Tips & Things you should know before visiting LEGOLAND California with Kids

Tips & Things you should know before visiting LEGOLAND California with Kids

Things you should be know before visiting LEGOLAND California With Kids:

If you guys are following us on Instagram then you should be knowing that we’ve been to LEGOLAND California recently and had so much fun there. It was our first visit with our 3 year old son and he had a blast. Though we were the first timers, we did a lot of research on what, how, when, what not to do in LEGOLAND before our visit. And with the help of our research and experience, we will be sharing some tips on LEGOLAND Which you should be knowing before you go.

Before I proceed, A Big Thanks to LEGOLAND California for Hosting us!!

Buy tickets in advance:

We always recommend buying your tickets ahead of time online to any place you visit (not just LEGOLAND) just to avoid those long waiting lines at the booths and moreover you will find tons of discounts or coupon codes online which can save few bucks.

Kids can go for FREE:

If you are going with kids then here’s the good news… LEGOLAND has ‘Free LEGOLAND Child’s Ticket’ with an Adult Ticket Purchase (for ages 3-12).Now this is something really cool  Click on this link to Redeem the Free Ticket Offer. And if you buy Honest Kids Juice! On an 8-count carton, you’ll find an offer that includes a FREE Child Hopper Ticket with a full paid Adult Hopper Ticket admission coupon to LEGOLAND California Resort.!

Pack an extra set of clothes :

Even if you are not planning to go to the water park, there are a few splash and play areas inside the park. If your little ones love to play in the water, then you should be having some extra clothes or bathing suits for them. If you plan to visit during summers then playing in the splash areas is the best way to beat the California heat.

Bring Snacks & Water:

Yes, you’ve read it right. Most of the Amusements are strict when it comes to bringing outside food in the park but in LEGOLAND,you are welcomed to bring small snacks and water.

Plan to stay the whole day:

We totally underestimated LEGOLAND and surprisingly it is Huge and there is so much to do in there. It’s not just a park but there is water park and Sea Life Aquarium located inside. We were there from 9:30am to 6pm and still couldn’t complete the entire park moreover, We had to totally skip the water park as the climate was very cold during our visit(End of October).

Use the App :

If you are in any Theme Park, then using their app saves lot of your time & energy. You can use the LEGOLAND app to check wait times (that feature only works once you’ve entered the park), order food to skip the lines, make dinner reservations at hotel restaurants, purchase Reserve ‘n’ Ride and get more LEGOLAND California tips and information.

Avoid getting Tired:

As i said above, the park is huge and there’s tons of things to do in there and definitely you will get tried. To avoid getting tired, Plan the rides accordingly. Like there are tons of relaxing rides(boat rides) which we did in an hour interval just to relax our feet and enjoy looking at the things around the park.

Granny Apple Fries:

This is something you will only find it in LEGOLAND Parks-The famous Granny apples. Granny Apple are basically fried apple slices, dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with vanilla whipped cream for dipping!. Trust me, these are so addictive that you would be wanting more.

Strollers are Must :

If you are visiting with toddlers then Strollers are Must. As i said earlier, this park is Huge. My 3 year old is a very good walker and he was never a stroller boy. For the first time, he asked us if he can sit in a stroller lol so you can imagine the amount of walking. You can also rent one in the park, check the prices here on their website

Go as Early as Possible :

So this is the thing which amazed us. When we checked LEGOLAND Website for hours, it showed the park opens at 11am. But we were their early by chance at 9:30 am and for our surprise,we were allowed to get in the park. We were amazed and happy as we got to do most of the rides during lesser crowd. So whenever you plan to come here, come early and you might get to enter the park before everyone does.

Free Button :

You can get a FREE Birthday Button or First Visit Button. Just head to the guest relations located outside the park and ask for a Button which suits your occasion. When you have your birthday button on, you can receive birthday greetings from everyone who works in the park. These Buttons make a great sovereign.

Miniland USA:

A visit to LEGOLAND is incomplete without seeing the beautiful MiniLand USA . Infact i was here just to see this Miniland where you get to see Mini cities made entirely out of LEGO’s. Now this is something which you can never find anywhere else except at LEGOLAND Parks. So it is foolishness if you miss it.

Kids eat free at Pizza & pasta :

There is restaurant in the park called ‘Pizza & Pasta’ where kids can eat free with purchase of 1 adult buffet. This might save few bucks if you have 2 or more kids in your group.Usually all the restaurants in the park are busy with long waiting lines but this one is a bit more because everyone with kids come here to eat.

Take Advantage of Package Pickup Service :

When you are at a theme park with kids , its obvious that you would want to buy something for kids or a sovereign. But no one likes to carry those bags, So make sure to take advantage of their Package Pick-up service. All retail purchases made throughout the Park can be transferred to the Park exit for you to pick up on your way home at NO COST

Rainy Day Promise :

Now this is something unique about LEGOLAND Parks which i totally love. Do you Know, Legoland has a “Rainy Day” promise, which means, In the rare instance if it rains and forces the closure of rides for at least 2 hours, their Rainy Day Promise allows for all paid guests already in the Park to return later in the season. Now tell me if this isn’t awesome ?? Click here for more information about Rainy Day Promise

Take advantage of ‘Parent Swap’ :

Sometimes things like these happen when you are visiting a theme park with kids – You stand in a long waiting line and when it’s your turn, you will be turned back just because your kid doesn’t meet the height requirement which can be really frustrating. To avoid this to happen, you can actually swap your spot with your partner. Your partner can wait with your kid until your done with the ride and then when he/she is done, you can go do the ride and the best part is, you don’t have to stand in line again, you are allowed to go on that ride as soon as your partner comes back. Isn’t this smart??

Have you been to LEGOLAND Before?? If yes, what tips would you give???

Things to do with Kids in Florida Keys

Things to do with Kids in Florida Keys

The First thing which comes to our mind when we think of Florida Keys is its warm and clear waters with beautiful sunsets. But there is lot more things to do there specially if you are travelling with kids. Here in this Blog I will be sharing ‘Things to do with kids’ which both Kids and Adults can equally have fun and which should be on everyone’s vacation list.

Before i proceed, A Big Thank You to The Florida Keys CVB for Hosting us

Theater of the Sea:

Located in a Village of Islamorada, Theater of the Sea is a small marine park with tons of interactive Shows and Animal Encounters. We did ‘Wade with dolphins’ which is interacting with a dolphin and having some fun in the water which was one of the best experiences we ever had, and also it will be one of the best memories my 3 year old would cherish forever. The trainers were very friendly and informative about the animals and how they rescued them.Your heart will melt to see the beautiful bond they have with these animals.

Location : 84721 Overseas Hwy, Islamorada, FL 33036

Admission : General Admission Ages 11+ : 40$ ; Kids Ages 3-10 : 23$

Parking : FREE

Follow Theater of the Sea here : Website ; Facebook

Sunset Sails on a Schooner :

There’s nothing better than watching a sunset over the ocean and a schooner ride during that time will be the ‘icing on the cake’. Key West is famous for its Beautiful sunsets and we took a schooner ride with schooner appledore to experience the last minutes of the sun over the ocean . This two hour schooner ride was the perfect relaxation with a great crew who were very informative about the local places and history of Key West. We have been on many small cruises and ferries but a schooner experience was so traditional and different from the regular cruising. It’s basically a sail on wind power. This is a perfect way to relax with kids after a long tiring Day.

Location : 205 Elizabeth St, Key West, FL 33040

Admission : Adult : 75$ ; Child : 4 and under are Free

Parking : 5$/hour

Follow Appledore here : Website & Facebook

Mallory square :

If you wanna catch the last moments of the sun then Mallory Square is your spot. Mallory Square is full of Food spots,Fun activities and Cruises. Just two hours before sunset there is a free nightly art festival which is called Sunset Celebrations is super fun to spend your evening. And because it is one of the best places to watch sunset, it can get crowded in the evenings.

Conch Train :

We did this tour after a 4 hours of snorkeling and swimming , so it was perfect for us to relax and it’s great way to get around downtown and see Key West. The driver basically tells you the entire history of Key West while pointing out special landmarks in the area. There are 4 stops where you can get off and look around. You get to see more of the island on this train than on feet if you are short on time.Your ticket price includes entry into the Hemingway museum and rides on the train all day

Location : 303 Front St, Key West, FL 33040

Admission : Adults : 32$ ; Kids (4-12) :16$

Climb the Lighthouse:

The 169-year-old Key West Lighthouse is located in the center of the town and was originally built to help ships headed to the US Naval Station. Interestingly, when it opened in 1848, it was helmed by one of the first women to hold that job in US history, Now that makes is a historic site for sure.It is Located across from the Hemingway Museum, where you can climb the 88 steps to the top for a sweeping view of the island and Ocean.

Location : 938 Whitehead St, Key West, FL 33040

Admission : Adults :10$ ; Kids ages 6 and above : 5$

Fury adventures :

We did the Island Adventure Tour with Fury Key west and trust me, This was the Highlight of our entire trip. It’s a 4 hour tour where we were taken to the shallow waters somewhere in the middle of the ocean , parked our cruise s , loaded our kayak with snacks, drinks , beach ball and took a ride in one of the most beautiful crystal clear waters I have ever seen .we literally spent two hours in the water with our 3 year old son and i can say that those were one of the best two hours on our vacation. Infact surprisingly it was my little one who had way more fun than we did.

Location : 0 Duval St, Key West, FL 33040

Admission : Adults : 107$ ; Kids : 85$

Parking : 5$/Hour

Follow Fury Adventures here : Website  ; Facebook ; Instagram

Shipwreck museum :

If you are taking a ride in a conch train then the last stop would be right infront of the Shipwreck Museum .The museum has some interesting artifacts and history of the Shipwreck treasure hunters from years ago and It’s a good place, especially if you are into history and generally curious about the subject of naval development of the area. The main attraction for us was the tower from where you can see beautiful views of the island. It was windy when we went and the tower was shaking, but i guess that’s totally normal and nothing to get scared off.

Location : 1 Whitehead St, Key West, FL 33040

Admission : Adults : 16$ ; Ages (4-12) – 10$

Follow Shipwreck Museum here : Website ; Facebook ; Instagram

Key West butterfly and Natural Conservatory Gardens :

This is One of the most peaceful and beautiful places in Key West with tons of lush green tropical plants, Birds and of course loads and loads of Butterflies. This place is small with Climate controlled glass enclosed habitat which makes you feel like you are in a wonderland.

Location : 1316 Duval St, Key West, FL 33040

Admission : Adults : 12 ; Kids(4-12) : 9$

Follow Butterfly and Natural Conservatory Gardens here Website ; Facebook & Instagram

Aquarium encounters :

If you wanna keep your kids busy for a while then Aquariums would be the best place. You can never go wrong with it as it keeps kids entertained for couple of hours. Aquarium Encounters is the best place if you want to have a very close and personal encounter with Animals like sting rays, crabs, star fish, urchins and a few other critters. Not just that, you can also feed turtles, tortoise, sting rays , fish and get a chance to touch a baby alligator. It’s much smaller and more intimate, so it has a completely different feel.

Our Stay at Eden Roc Miami Beach

Miami is always a blast with full of people and parties and when i was planning my trip to Miami, I was looking for a place which is Family friendly and am glad i choose Eden Roc Miami amongst others. While we were only there for three Nights, it was exactly what i needed It’s glam, sophisticated & Family friendly. Here in this Blog I will be sharing a detailed review about this 4 Star Luxury Hotel.

View from our Room

Upon arrival, Our car was taken care in the valet and were greeted in a very welcoming way. As soon as we entered, I have to say, I was stunned with the rich golden decor of the lobby area. The check-In was very quick and were directed to our room which was on the 20th Floor. On our way to our Room, we quickly checked out the Pool Area which was calling our name as it’s the best place to be to beat the Miami’s Humidity. After a quick stroll in lobby Area, we headed straight to our Room which was on the 20th Floor.

We knew that we were given a Ocean View Room which means my expectations were already pretty high and i was super excited to see how it is.As soon as i entered the room i headed straight to the Balcony which was rather dreamy with the most incredible view of Atlantic Ocean and Beach.Trust me, we stayed there for a good 15 minutes just taking in all the beauty.

The room has two Queen beds and laid out perfectly so that guests can enjoy the Ocean View while staying in the bed. I was stunned to see how huge the room was with the most incredible view of beach, ocean and city.

Welcome Note

The Bathroom is a traveler’s dream with a Huge Jacuzzi and Shower. After strolling around the Miami the entire day, we use to end our day by spending some time in our private Jacuzzi. What else can anyone ask for??

Pools & Beach:

Eden Roc Miami Beach hotel has 4 Pools which includes a kid’s pool with breathtaking views of the ocean and beach. They also have cabanas where you can rest while you enjoy soft music playing in the background.

Now mentioning about the Beach, Eden Roc is often described as an Oceanside Treasure as the hotel has direct access to one of the most beautiful Beach. Though Miami beach is fully public but the hotel does have a private set up for its guests. It was a surprise to see that this white sandy beach with bright blue ocean was shared with far fewer people which is what we like.

We are a big pizza lovers and ordered 2 pizzas – Roasted Veggie Pizza, Avocado Pizza; Fish Tacos and a Whole Fish.My favorite was the Avocado Pizza with Jalapeno ricotta which had hint of lime and spice. The pizza was made of wheat, the vegetables were very fresh with local grown ingredients. I was surprised to see the bigger portions and it’s not just pizza but every plate is a family size meal. Malibu Farms carry only organic food and for me, when its organic it automatically tastes good.

5 activities to try while travelling

5 activities to try while travelling

5 activities to try while travelling

When it comes to travelling with the family, the last words you want to hear are ‘I’m bored’. Whilst you may be perfectly content with lying on your sun lounger, listening to the waves roll in, your little darlings have plenty of energy to burn. Here are some exciting activities that the whole family can get involved in during your next holiday.

Safari :

Safaris are often considered to be an ‘adults-only’ activity, but this is not actually the case. Whilst there are certainly restrictions involved to ensure the safety of children on a safari, they are not prohibited altogether and it is an experience that many families have enjoyed sharing. Some guided tours will accept children older than six and there is also the option of self-driving a rented vehicle if you wish to take younger children. Safaris can be made a particularly magical experience for younger children by pointing out ‘Simba’ for a lion or ‘Pumbaa’ for a warthog. However, it may be a good idea to explain to children that they are seeing the ‘real thing’ and not to expect the action-packed scenes they will have seen on television.

Skiing :

Skiing has long been a popular option for a family activity holiday and with good reason. Many resorts are specifically designed with families in mind. They feature slopes of a variety of lengths and difficulties to cater for all kinds of guests, with many having additional activities available such as snowboarding and sledding areas especially for young children. It is a good idea to invest in some skiing lessons for the kids before heading to the slopes. Not only will this get them excited for their holiday, but having been taught the basics they will be much more able to ‘get on’ with things, when you get to the resort. You should also consider what other activities are available when choosing your resort just in case they don’t want to spend their whole holiday on the slopes.

Snorkelling :

Don your snorkel and explore the underwater paradise hidden within the coral reefs. With an estimated 372 coral reefs in the world, there are plenty of destinations where you can marvel at the world beneath the waves. Even little ones can get involved – but be sure to check out the latest water safety tips for beaches and protect your kids from the rays. Sun cream usually has a lifespan of only 40-80 minutes, so top up regularly when on the beach or in the sea.

Discover ancient ruins :

Make history cool as you bring to life the remains of ancient architecture. Research the area beforehand so that you understand its history yourself. This will allow you to narrate the visit for your kids, capturing their imaginations as they journey back in time. Snacks are essential for these kinds of trips. If kids are hungry then it’s likely they’ll lose interest in your extravagant, carefully thought out narration and just become bored.

Hiking and trekking :

There are all sorts of places that you can explore with the family on foot. From mountains to rainforests – and even inactive volcanoes – there are plenty of exciting walks to discover. Do your research to make sure that the terrain is appropriate for the ability of your family members and find some landmarks to discover or fun facts about the area to point out along the way.

Five Best Ideas to Attract Tourists to Your Restaurant

Five Best Ideas to Attract Tourists to Your Restaurant

Five Best Ideas to Attract Tourists to Your Restaurant :

The restaurant business is one of the most focused at present. So, making a search for better ways to attract business is a steady need. How to draw in more tourist customers to your restaurant appears like an endless journey.Surprisingly, marketing and advertising have changed restaurants considerably over the years. What worked well 10 years back, or even a year ago, doesn’t usually work any longer. It can be a great effort to discover new travelling customers for your restaurant with online networking, new technology and more competition than ever before.

Here is a quick list of ideas that we set up together that every restaurant, huge or little, should be doing attract more customers to their restaurants.

1. Hire a professional food photographer :

Your food is what brings people into your restaurant right? All things considered, they’re there to eat. So shouldn’t you have incredibly attractive photographs of your restaurant’s edibles? Invest in a decent camera and begin rehearsing your photographic abilities. If you can, employ an expert food photographer to take the photographs for you. Utilize these pictures all over your website, social media and in other advertisements to get people to desire what you offer. Photographs are frequently shared around online and will attract a new customer to your restaurant.

2. Low-Priced, Time Saving Strategies :

Drawing in tourists to your restaurant doesn’t really need to be tedious or costly. For instance, envision that you happen to meet a local business leader or a well-known member of society. Referencing your restaurant or welcoming them to come in for a free or discounted feast is a great way to get customers without investing inordinate time and cash on the advertising market. In the restaurant business, clover hardware is really beneficial to establish a restaurant business.

3. Wi-Fi facility :

Unarguably, Wi-Fi is very significant, and in some cases a necessity for many restaurant customers. Many people settle on whether or not you have Wi-Fi. Your customer needs to mingle on the web or even get caught up on work while at your establishment. So, it’s essential to give them that incentive to come in.
Furthermore, the times of day when people are most likely to come to a restaurant and remain there for complimentary network access is generally amidst the day when most restaurants tend to hit a lull in business. Amid these occasions, it can be helpful to keep guests in their seats for whatever length of time is possible. It’s essential to give them that inducement to come in.

4. Promotion on your guests’ receipts :

One of the simplest ways to build customer loyalty and make one-time customers return is by placing promotion on your customers’ receipts. Offering customers a free tidbit or dessert upon their arrival makes guests feel acknowledged and anticipate returning. The most ideal approach to do this is utilizing a point of offer (POS) system like a merchant account that gives you a chance to make a customized promotional message on your receipts.

5. Keep a Smartphone in the kitchen :

Having a decent cell phone in your kitchen consistently is worthy of your business enterprise. Your chefs and staff should indispensably upload pictures in real-time to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms effectively and rapidly. Customers need to see what’s going on the present moment, and they need to see pictures. Pictures are a simple wellspring of content to post online to find new guests and get them connected with your restaurant.

Conclusion :

Serving the best food in the world doesn’t always mean a full restaurant every night if nobody knows exactly how delectable your food is. At times you have to do a small promotion to magnetize more customers to your restaurant.

Are you or your family travelling to singapore?? Are you looking for some unique gift idea for your family/friend?? Then you should consider iVenture Card which i believe is one of the best gifts one can give.Today in this blog i will be sharing how helpful the iVenture card was for my family who were travelling to Singapore from India.

Thanks to iVenture Card for letting me try one of their cards but all thoughts are my own

My family from India were travelling to Singapore for the first time and to make their vacation little bit easy in a foreign country, I partnered up with iventure card with which my family can visit some of the attractions there without even bothering about queuing up for tickets or dealing with foreign currency.

So What is iVenture Card??

iVenture Card is a pre-paid card which combines some of the best attractions, theme parks, thrill rides, museums, cruises and many more popular and unique experiences, all on one simple card for a much more lesser price. Doesn’t that sound interesting?

All you have to do is to just go to their website, choose the city/country and type of card you want from their menu. That’s it !!!And when your family arrives at the Singapore, just ask them to collect their pre-paid iventure card at the airport or any of their other locations listed on their website. And yes, I bought the card for my parents by sitting here in California …that’s how convenient it is !!!

The best part is, you can save upto 50% on attractions with this card. Now that is what i call a good deal !!

Final Thoughts :

  • Quick and Easy to buy Online
  • Saves a lot of time
  • Fast entry to the attractions
  • Perfect as a gift
  • Cash-free entry
  • upto 50% off on all the attractions

Biking is so much fun and it gets beautiful if you are biking along the beach. Renting a surrey bike at Wheel Fun Rentals is a perfect way to explore the boardwalk and the beach area at Long Beach together as a family. We rented a surrey bike for 2 hours and with all the amazing views of the Ocean, Beach and Queen Mary, 2 hours seemed shorter. In-Shot, As the name itself tells ‘Wheel Fun’, we definitely had so much fun wheeling around.

Things to do with kids at Universal Studios Hollywood

Things to do with kids at Universal Studios Hollywood

Thinking about visiting Universal Studios with kids and have no Idea what to do/expect?? Then You’ve come to the right place where i will be sharing some things that would definitely interests your kids and keep them entertained for a one full day.

Universal Studios Hollywood is one of the must visit place here in Los Angeles and also an incredible theme park with thrilling attractions that completely immserse you in the movies and TV shows that you love. With intense rides like Transformers, Revenge of the Mummy, Jurassic Park , and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, you may think that Universal is only for Adults or Older Kids. But Luckily, it is a place for everyone of all ages. Here in this blog i will be sharing everything about ‘Things to do with Kids’.

Studio Tour :

Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood is one of the best tours in USA. This is also one of the main attractions inside the Theme Park with it’s largest working movie studio in the country, and there’s always something being filmed there. Jimmy Fallon introduces tour-related clips on the tram’s HD monitors, while a a live tour guide narrates the tour and answers any questions the group has. Tour highlights include many of the 4D experiences ,Plane Crash and Jaws scene and much more which will keep your little one very much entertained. At first i thought he might get scared with lots of 4D thing going on but for my surprise he was totally enjoying it.

Stroll at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter :

If I have to describe “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at USH in one word then it would be “Magical” . I love how they have dedicated one section of the park to the Harry Potter lovers with its, cobblestone streets, snow capped roofs, numerous photo-ops and the amazing people who work here in the appropriate costumes which makes you feel like you have actually entered into the world of Harry. While there are no rides for toddlers in this area, there is plenty of things will be going around which will definitely interests your lil ones. My favorite part of this village is the Hogwarts’s castle which looks incredible from outside and as you go in, you will find the fast moving simulator ride “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” which is also one of the most talked rides at USH.

Meet the transformers :

Though Transformers is not for younger kids(under 40″) to ride but it is always fun for them to meet a interactive  transformer right outside the ride. Honestly, I love the way transformers interacts with people and i can sit down and watch them make people laugh all day there.

Photo ops:

It’s a Theme Park and a Theme Park is incomplete without photo ops. There are tons of Photo ops everywhere in the park which are perfect for you to take pictures together as a family for your ‘gram. Some of my favorites are at the Iconic USH Globe and red carpet at the entrance, Yellow Taxi and a 3D wall art right infront of it, more photo-ops at Wizarding World of Harry Potter , Minions at Super silly fun land and much more.

Interact with a Dinosaur :

If your kid is obsessed with everything/anything related to Dinosaurs then trust me he wouldn’t wanna leave this part of the park. My 3 year old loves Dinosaurs and here at USH, he got to meet a REAL ONE !!! Just Kidding, it’s just a Raptor but my son was convinced that it is real lol. Not just a Raptor encounter.

Soak in the water :

Playing in/with the water is always a win. Your little ones will love to jump and splash in the Super Silly Fun Land spray area which is equipped with over 80 water play features and slides. There are couple more splash at Universal Plaza and Universal City Walk which am sure are the best thing to do to beat LA’s heat during summers.

Watch the Water world Show :

The Water World show was absolutely incredible and definitely needs to be on your Universal Studios Hollywood list! My lil one loves to watch the action scenes and this show was a jaw dropping experience for him which features  high-tech special effects, flames, a seaplane that swoops directly in front of the audience and human stunt work that are incredible to watch are just few highlights of the show.

Meet and Greets :

Meeting favorite characters can be a memorable moment for small children at Universal Studios Hollywood. Around the park keep your eyes open for some amazing characters such as Scooby Doo, Hello Kitty, Simpsons and Family, Minions , Sherk ,Sponge Bob and many more. Though my 3 year old  had no idea who they were(except of Minions), He loved meeting these bright cartoon characters.

Play games :

There is a small area at Super Silly Fun Land that kids can enjoy playing games and perhaps winning a souvenir. There is one of the games where there is a 100% chance of winning something everytime you play. So if you wanna see that big curve of your lil one’s face then you should let them play and win here.

Play Areas :

There’s couple of play areas at USH , one at Dino Play Area right outside Jurassic Park, and the other at Super Silly Fun Land. Both are perfect areas for little kids to burn some energy. There’s also a swirly silly fun ride where kids of any age can go on it.

So these are some of the things you can do at Universal Studios Hollywood if you are travelling with kids. Let me know if you have any other suggestions other than these in the comments section below.

Our Stay at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa

Our Stay at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa

Recently we visited Lake Arrowhead to experience the snow and got to stay at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.I know you must be wondering, did she just say she went there just to experience the snow??Well, Yes !!! My 3 year old’s brain was filled with snow stories all Christmas and he wanted to see and feel the snow and here in Los Angeles it NEVER snows but luckily we can still experience the snow just 80miles away on San Bernandino mountains.

We planned a short 1 day trip to Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. After exploring the snow activities in Big Bear, we headed to Lake Arrowhead which was 20 miles away from Big Bear Lake and stayed at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa by Marriott and instantly fell in love. Here in this blog i will be sharing everything about our visit and Thanks again to Marriott for hosting our stay. I hope you enjoy this full review of Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.

After doing the snow activities at Alpine Slide Big Bear, We really needed a place where we can just relax and also have fun, So we choose Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa ,it was morethan what we expected. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city,Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa adds a bit of luxury to your stay, which is what you clearly expect from a Marriott Resort. We checked in at around 7PM after a long tiring day.

We were in a double bed queen room with Lake view which was around 500sqft with 2 queens, Desk, TV, refrigerator, Balcony with beautiful views of lake, closet and dresser. We were happy to see a welcome note on the table with some fresh fruits and sparkling water. How sweet !!

Room with 2 Queens and Lake View

After touring our room quickly freshened up to go have a dinner at Bin 189 Resturant.

Located inside of the Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa, Bin 189 Restaurant offers upscale dinning for guests and visitors. It was everything we needed for the night, Lux, Romantic and Delicious Food with the beautiful views of Lake. The restaurant also features a beautiful bar and a lounge where children are also welcome.

After we had our dinner, we went back to our rooms and had a peaceful sleep after a long day.The beds were super cozy and comfortable that we had a good 8 hour sleep.

I woke up around 7 in the morning and was surprised to see the view we got from our Balcony. We had a beautiful Lake View from our room. Pictures don’t do justice but trust me, It was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.

There is a nice high-top table with two chairs set up for you on the balcony so you can enjoy some wine or coffee and relax watching the sunrise or sunset over the lake.I have never seen a combination of Snow, Heated Pool and a Lake!!

We quickly freshened up and headed out to explore the resort and found out that they had access to a private area on the lake in a beach style with lots of lounge chairs.

We had a nice walk on the beach and along paved trail views of the Lake and ended up at the Lake Arrowhead Village which was located within the walking distance from the Resort. the village had everything you need from Shopping Center to Restaurants.

I would highly recommend this place to everyone travelling to Lake Arrowhead as it is a perfect place to relax away from hustle and bustle of the LA City and there are tons of activities for everyone to do around the year.
